This cover has an interesting story behind it. The guitar track for this was laid down at the main Marital Abuse and Other Sunshine Scenarios session. I showed David the original song and he recorded it in about ten minutes. I overdubbed the rest of the instruments and vocals a few months later, just after the Tunnels sessions. It then sat on my computer for six years. A strange cover of a classic Modest Mouse tune that exemplifies my early style of music-making.
