I met Mitch at Illinois Wesleyan University in 2016, and I was very impressed with their love of music from the '60s and their ability to stitch disparate genres into a cohesive whole. After hearing their debut album, Fully Realized, I knew that a collaboration between us would be incredibly fruitful. These sessions involve a give and take between two musical minds, but I found that this session reached a thrilling "happy medium" between our two styles. New age, bossa nova, chaotic free improvisation, indigenous-influenced music, folktronica and a smidge of psychedelia came bursting forth, leading to recordings with a lot of twists, turns, and inspired interplay. We hope you enjoy.
