A series of improvisations I did on Orthodox Holy Thursday, these capture some of the big events that occurred during Holy Week, when Christ was tried, convicted, crucified, and according to Christian tradition, arose on the third day. Could be considered a religious service or my form of a mass. Drones, Hebrew scales, and atonality reign supreme. Like the week itself it is filled with dread, lamentations, hope, and the promise of ineffable love. Also a sort of love letter to Greek Orthodox Christianity. I hope you are immersed.
