I was disappointed in a certain department store's choice of music, so I decided to make my own. The concept was done before by Haroumi Hosono, who recorded an ambient tape for a Japanese retailer in the '80s that was later sampled by Vampire Weekend. Lots of nice undulating chords and passages here-reminds me of Fumio Miyashita and Hiroshi Yoshimura's work. Perfect for shopping, sleep, or meditation.
