This album was conceived and recorded over a week in mid-September 2021. The idea behind this release was to perform all the instruments myself using virtual instruments that were available to me via GarageBand, Spitfire Audio's free LABS plugin, or ones that I had purchased previously. Most of the samples I use were downloaded via freesound.org (uploaders who requested attribution are listed below), or were in the public domain. One sample was on YouTube and I cleared it with the original author. Far from limiting me, these conditions inspired unique ambient pieces that serve as a companion piece of sorts to my 2020 album C.W. Franz II. They unfold much like dreams, and have a timeless quality all their own. I hope you enjoy.
